Baby JJ's Newborn session



There’s something incredibly special about those first few weeks with a newborn — the quiet snuggles, tiny yawns, and the overwhelming love that fills the room. In March, Shea and James welcomed their beautiful baby boy, JJ, and chose to document this chapter with a newborn session in Harbor Point, Stamford.


Set against the calm, coastal charm of Harbor Point, the session was the perfect blend of cozy and classic. With the early spring light streaming through the windows, baby JJ snoozed peacefully through most of his debut shoot. Shea and James were glowing — new parenthood suits them beautifully. You could see the joy and wonder in every glance they shared with their son, and the quiet awe of realizing that life had just changed in the best way possible.

We kept the focus on natural moments, capturing Shea and James’s joy and JJ’s sleepy, serene expressions. Wrapped in soft blues and whites, JJ was the perfect little model, content in his parents' arms and completely unaware of the joy he brought to everyone around him.

What made this session extra special was the presence of both sets of grandparents. It was a true family affair, filled with laughter, gentle snuggles, and proud smiles. One set of grandparents even made the journey all the way from Ireland to meet their newest grandson — a testament to how deeply loved baby JJ already is.

This session wasn’t just about newborn photos — it was about family, heritage, and new beginnings. Moments like these are fleeting, and it was an honor to freeze a few of them in time for this wonderful family.
