One Hour

Portrait Session

From $ 450

A one hour session is my most commonly booked portrait session. This could be an engagement shoot, a proposal, a family session, a maternity session or a branding session. One hour typically elicits 60-80 edited photos which will be delivered to you in a high quality digital album.

All portrait sessions currently take place at an outdoor location of your choosing, or your home.

Seasonal mini sessions

FROM $325

A mini session is a condensed 20-minute photo shoot that elicits 20 high-quality images in a short amount of time. As the host of a mini session, I choose the location ahead of time and am able to line up clients back-to-back to offer a more affordable photoshoot.

Mini sessions are ideal for holiday cards and seasonal events. I offer yearly holiday mini sessions in the fall but have also hosted Mother's Day minis and summer beach minis. Mini sessions are announced on my Instagram - @jacquelynkennellyphotography

Frequently Asked Questions

What should we wear for our session?

Choose a color palette that complements the setting and season and avoid overly bright or busy patterns. Neutral tones like beige, grey, or soft pastels work well for a timeless look. Aim for a cohesive look without being too matchy-matchy.

Feel free to browse galleries on my Instagram or website for outfit inspiration. If you're feeling particularly stuck, shoot me a quick email and I'd be happy to help you come up with a coordinated palette that works for your session!

Some clients even choose to pamper themselves with a blowout or a makeup session prior to their photoshoot. While this is completely a personal choice, I suggest doing whatever will make you feel your best for your photos!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with kids?

What if my kids are having a hard time?

With over ten years of experience as an elementary school teacher,  and a baby of my own, I welcome all the joys (and challenges) that children bring!

Mini sessions can be great for children since they are short and sweet but if you are really worried about wrangling up your kiddos,  a private photo session allows more time to work through any challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should we bring our dog?

Absolutely! As you can probably see, JKPhoto has captured many dogs in photos. I do suggest that if you choose to bring your dog, you also bring a pet helper with you (an extra person who is NOT going to be in the photos).  Sometimes our furry friends need a little break and it's helpful for the family to continue their photos while a helper takes care of your furry friend.
