Jon, Katie & Ralph's Family Portraits



Katie, Jon and Ralph are our friends, colleagues and neighbors. Katie and I both teach in the same district and Jon and my husband both love alien podcasts. Although, they like to argue with us that it's not so much an alien podcast, as it is an existential risk podcast... whatever that means.


We've bonded over our mutual marriage location of Newport, RI and my burning desire to get a golden retriever just like their good boy, Ralph.  Katie is always sending me pictures of the latest hypoallergenic dog breeds she discovers at the dog park so that I can finally convince my very allergic husband to bite the bullet and get a dog.


They were one of my very first clients when I decided to start this business in November of 2022.  Here are some shots from their Christmas card session in Rowayton...

We had been watching the weather all day as the forecast kept changing from rain to sun. As our session time rolled around, the clouds decided they weren't leaving but we made the best of our overcast afternoon and went for it anyway. Who needs the sun when you have the golden rays of Ralph?

Despite his burning desire to jump in the Long Island Sound, Ralph stole the show with his photogenic smiles and tail wags. Katie made the sure the family was properly clad in reds, greens, and tartans to give off that beachy Christmas vibe.  All in all, it was a successful Christmas card shoot... with no surprise alien appearances.
